Tips for making Pumpkin Bread
- Line your bread pan with a thin strip of parchment paper so you can easily lift your pumpkin bread out of the pan when it's cooled. After watching many GBBO episodes I finally started doing this and wish I learned sooner!
- Always check for doneness with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, it's done. If a lot of batter comes out with it, it needs more time.
FAQ about making this pumpkin loaf
I always use this 8.5x4.4 ceramic coated metal pan. If you use a different size bread pan, cooking time will vary.
Also, glass loaf pans tend to take a lot longer to bake bread.
This bread is best when stored in an airtight container at room temperature. You can also you a press n seal or plastic wrap over a plate.
While this pumpkin bread recipe is already very scrumptious, you can really top it off with a brown butter frosting, or caramel sauce.
