Can you freeze m&m cookies?

Yes, these cookies can be frozen with ease! Place the cookies in a freezer bag and store them for a couple of months. When you are ready to eat, let them thaw out for a couple of minutes.

Other favorite add-ins

The great thing about m&m cookies is that they are so versatile. You can add just about anything to them, and it will only make them taste better!

  • chocolate chips
  • walnuts
  • peanut butter chips
  • pretzel bits

Here is my chocolate chip M&M cookie recipe for reference in case you are wanting to add in some more chocolatey goodness!

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup salted butter softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup M&M's

Instructions

Directions:

  1. The first thing you should do is pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Next, you should add the softened butter to a mixing bowl, and add in the sugars. Cream this all together for about 2 minutes.

  3. Then, add in your egg. Mix this for about 1 minute. The next thing you should do is add in your vanilla extract, milk, and baking soda.

  4. Once these have been mixed into the cookie batter, you will add in your flour.

  5. The final step is to add in the m&ms with a rubber spatula.

  6. Roll out the cookie dough into 1 inch - 1 ½ inch balls. Then, flatten them with the palm of your hand. This helps them flatten out faster and cook evenly.

  7. Bake these cookies for 8-10 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
