Making monster-themed treats for parties are so much fun. Kids love them, and so will you because they are EASY.

To go with these monster oreos, you should also check out my monster rice krispie treats.

What do you need to make monster Oreo cookie pops?

  • 12 oreos
  • candy melts ( I used lavender, vibrant green, royal blue, and orange).
  • Candy eyes
  • black sprinkles
  • 12 Wilton Lollipop sticks (optional)
  • wax paper

How to make these fun monster pops:

First, measure out ½ cup of candy melts into separate microwaveable bowls. Then, heat them up in the microwave at 20 second intervals, stirring after each time. Continue this until the candy melts are melted and runny.

Dip a lollipop stick into one of the colored candy melts and then stick it into the oreo. You might have to carefully open the oreo to put the stick in but that's alright.

dip your lollipop stick in candy melt and then place it in the oreo

Then, place this oreo with the stick in the freezer for about a minute. Placing it in the freezer helps the candy melts harden quick so that the stick won't move when you go to dip them.

Then, you dip the oreo pops into the candy melts. Immediately after dipping, place candy eyes onto the oreo and also sprinkle with some black sugar sprinkles.

Then, let it rest on wax paper to harden. If you are in a hurry, you can also place these in the freezer to harden faster, but the candy melt might be a little harder to eat.
