Instructions
Instructions
Pizza Crust
-
In a medium bowl, add the warm water and yeast. Whisk with a fork for about a minute and then let it sit for about 10 minutes until the mixture starts looking real frothy.
-
Next, add in the sugar, salt, and olive oil. Mix this together for about 2 minutes.
-
Then, add in the flour and mix until dough comes together. Then let rise in an oiled bowl for 40 minutes or until doubled.
-
*Roll out on floured surface and place on a pizza pan with parchment paper. Then, roll the edges of the pizza crust inward to hold in your toppings.
-
Pre-bake this crust for 10-12 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Assembling the pizza
-
Spread ½ cup pizza sauce onto your pre-baked crust. Then, alternate adding cooked bacon and mozzarella cheese to the top.
-
Then, bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
Recipe Notes
* Using parchment paper when baking can help your oven stay clean but it's completely up to you if you want to use it.
*Halfway through cooking, spread melted butter around the pizza crust and sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese on it for added flavor and crunch.
