Crockpot meals are some of my favorite ways to make dinner. This crockpot italian chicken is easy and oh-so-tasty!

You can serve it over mashed potatoes, noodles, or my favorite is some buttery rice.

Ready to make it? Well, here's how!

What you need to make this italian chicken

6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (fresh or frozen)

1 16oz bottle italian dressing

1 cup chicken stock or chicken broth

1 8 oz package cream cheese (cubed)

2 tablespoon Corn Starch (use later to make a gravy)

How to make slow cooker italian chicken

Crockpot Italian Chicken:

The first thing you should do before making this crockpot italian chicken, is completely optional but makes clean up a breeze! You can find them here on Amazon or look for them near the plastic wraps and aluminum foil aisle.

Grab a crockpot liner and place it on your crockpot basin. Then, add in the 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

You will then pour the entire 16oz bottle of italian dressing into the lined crockpot. I especially like the Olive Garden Italian dressing.

Next, pour in the chicken stock or chicken broth.

Finally, add in the cubed cream cheese. Just try to place them evenly apart. You don't have to get OCD, because in the end it's all going to melt. 🙂 Then put the lid on and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours.

Italian Gravy:

When your crockpot italian chicken is done, ladle out about 2 cups of the juices in your crockpot. Pour this into a microwave safe bowl.

Then, add 2 tablespoon corn starch to the bowl with the sauce you scooped. You will then whisk until you can't see the corn starch any more.

Place this in your microwave for about 1 minute and then whisk again. The gravy should be thicker! You can then scoop this onto your chicken for an extra tasty italian chicken.
