  • Black food coloring

Instructions

Directions

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Place the eggs in your muffin tin, one egg per muffin cup.

  3. Bake for 30 minutes, rotating at the half-way mark.

  4. Carefully remove each egg with a tongs and place it in a bowl with ice water.

  5. Let the eggs cool for 5 mintues.

  6. Add the black food coloring gel to the ziploc bag. Then add in the hard boiled eggs.

  7. Lightly break the shells of the eggs to let the dye soak in. Let them sit in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

  8. Then, rinse and peel the egg shell off the eggs revealing a fun spider web-like design.

Recipe Notes

When you peel the egg shells off, you might want to use gloves or rinse them in water first as the food coloring can dye your hands temporarily.
