  • 1 cup salted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 ½ cup chocolate chips

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, add the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar to a mixing bowl. Mix it together for about 2 minutes on medium-high speed.

  2. Then, add in the eggs, vanilla extract, and baking soda. Mix this for about 1 minute until well-combined.

  3. Next, you will add in your flour, ½ cup at a time. Mix after each addition.

  4. Then, add in your oats. MIx for 1 minute, and then add in your chocolate chips. Mix for another minute. Then, you can start scooping your dough into balls.

  5. Place of a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and then squash the cookie dough ball down with the palm of your hand. Then, bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges start to turn brown.
