Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Super moist and absolutely deliciously sweet banana bread made in one bowl with chocolate chips! It's perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert.

  • 4 bananas starting to turn brown
  • ½ cup salted butter melted
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips



  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit before you start making your chooclate chip banana bread. Then, in a large mixing bowl, add your bananas. Mix on medium low speed just enough so that the bananas are good and mashed up.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl,melt the butter before adding it to the bananas. Beat for about 2 minutes before adding the brown sugar and granulated sugar. Then mix this banana mixture well for another 2 minutes.
  3. After the sugars have been combined, add in your eggs and vanilla. Beat for about a minute and then add in your baking soda.

  4. Finally, add in the flour ½ cup at a time. Mix after each addition. Some flour may stick to the sides of the bowl, so use a rubber spatula to scrape that back into the batter.
  5. Then pour in your chocolate chips and mix these with your rubber spatula. You can then spray a loaf pan with some Pam non-sticking spray and pour your chocolate chip banana bread batter in.

  6. Finally, you can place your loaf pan filled with batter onto a cookie sheet to prevent any messes in your oven. Bake this chocolate chip banana bread in the oven for 55-60 minutes or until the center of the bread comes out clean with a toothpick.
  7. Also, rotate your chocolate chip banana bread half-way through cooking so that each side is nice and golden brown. After this bread is finished cooking, let it cool for at least 30 minutes to prevent burns.
