Fun with gymboree clothing this summer
What are your plans for summer this year? This summer my family will be staying closer to home because we are in the process of building a new home.
While staying home most days can seem boring (especially for kids), there are actually a lot of ways to have fun this summer including playing dress-up, swimming, gardening, and celebrating holidays.
Gymboree clothing has a cool saying for those of us who are going to be sticking closer to home this summer: #local legends. If you are a local legend like me, check out a few ways to have fun this summer!

One way to have fun this summer is with Gymboree Children’s Clothing, because they have some of the most adorable outfits! If you don’t believe me, check some of them out by clicking on the picture below.
They have affordable clothing for boys and girls, and even babies too!
Here’s a few other ways to enjoy your summer this year even if you plan on staying closer to home:
Now I know what you might be thinking…how can I have fun with clothing? Two words- (dress up). With fun dresses like this one, your daughter is sure to have a blast!
Invite some of your daughter’s friends over and have a dress-up party or tea (or lemonade) party! Sometimes it’s the simplest things that we can enjoy the most.
Right now, my little guy would just adore having a bunch of people over…he’s kind of a ladies man already (haha!). Even having a play-date and just putting on a cute outfit will get your little one excited for a visitor!
What’s also nice about Gymboree clothing is that they have so many different options when it comes to summerwear. Even if you are staying close to home, it’s nice to get out and enjoy the weather.
I know one thing we will be doing to have some fun will be breaking out the baby pool! I like that you can stay home and set it up in the backyard without the worry of packing a diaper bag or anything because you are at home.
Take a look at some of the cute swimwear Gymboree clothing has:
Also, this summer we will be doing a lot of gardening when we finally get to move into our new home. While gardening is fun, summer can make it hot work.
That’s why you need to check Gymboree clothing out, because you can find a nice floppy sun hat or sunglasses to keep your daughter cool. They also have some great hats and sunglasses for your little guy too!
Please also remember to apply sunscreen when you are out and about, because while it is fun to play outside, it’s not as much fun getting sunburn.
Celebrate 4th of July!
Another fun activitiy this summer will be celebrating Independece day (also known as 4th of July). We probably won’t be attending a firework show this year because my son is still too young (almost 9 months old).
That won’t keep us from enjoying a fun barbecue or get-together with family! Check out these super cute 4th of July themed clothes Gymboree clothing has to offer:
I mean, seriously?! Why do kids clothes have to be so darn cute?
I may or may not have already ordered this dress for my daughter ;). I am a sucker for kids’ clothes…it might be a little bit of an addiction. I will update later when it comes in the mail or post a cute picture to my instagram (follow me here).
See how much fun you can have this summer being a local legend? (Seriously, I love this saying!)
